Our mission is to elevate artists and the arts to advance community healing and resiliency.
The Cultural Hub of NW Florida
We believe that a thriving art community creates a more prosperous and resilient community overall. We view resiliency as a top priority for our community as Panama City and the surrounding areas work to recover from Hurricane Michael in 2018. We believe that by supporting local artists, from visual artists to performance artists and everyone in between, that we can help individuals and businesses thrive as we work together to reinvent our community after the storm.
We provide resources to artists, including networking, education, and access to new spaces to show their work. We also donate art space at the Gallery of Art on Beach Drive thanks to the generous support of Hummingbird Events. We are working with local artists to develop and implement plans to fully utilize the Gallery of Art for art shows, workshops, and community events. Through art, anything is possible!
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, the Cultural Hub is a labor of love working to promote the arts and supporting local artists in the Panama City regional area.
The History of The Gallery of Art
The Gallery of Art, located at 36 W. Beach Drive in Panama City, Florida, exhibits art by local and regional artists of the Northwest Florida area, resales of works by Emil Holzhauer, Pablo Picasso and Norman Rockwell, as well as resales from local estates.
